The Blaster-2 High Performance Coil is a metal canister, oil filled coil that has specially designed windings to make it perfect for use with the MSD 5, 6, and 7 Series Ignitions or any stock points or electronic ignition. The windings allow you to get the most voltage possible from your ignition. The Blaster-2 uses an alkyd top to prevent arcing between the terminals. The MSD 8203 is CARB legal in all 50-states via EO #D-40-27.

Blaster High Vibration Coil
For circle track, off road and other severe duty racing applications, this is the coil! The windings of the High Vibration Coil MSD 8222 are completely encased in a premium epoxy making it impossible for vibration to affect the windings. This assembly is housed in a unique alkyd molded shell which provides high dielectric characteristics plus a very durable shell. Brass primary terminals ensure full voltage delivery and are spaced far apart to eliminate the chance of spark arc-over. The High Vibration Coil can be mounted in any position and can be used with a standard canister coil mount.
