A "H" Beam rod is good for high RPM combos.They can hold  that piston from
trying to pull off the crank at over 9,000 rpms. We use "H" Beam rods when your
going for a high rpm combo or over 180hp use.

Parallel beam design.
Stock size pin bushing (22.mm)
Stock rod width (.895")
Stock size VW rod journals (55mm) or Chevy 2"
3/8" bolts, not small 5/16" like the others!
ARP 8740 rod bolts are standard or you can order them with
the best ARP2000 bolts.
Offered in different length's for you to get the correct rod ratio.
