New Trans axles with a real 5 YEAR WARRANTY
Stock 12 volt
VW swing axle gear boxes
Originally came on 1967 and 1968 as a 12 volt swing axle but can be used on other years
that use a swing axle. A swing axle was used on 1968 and earlier model years. 1969 and
later came with IRS (Independent Rear Suspension). Our swing axle gearboxes come
completely rebuilt with either 4.12 or 4.37 Ring and Pinion. A 4.12 R&P is good for city and
standard freeway driving. Can cruise at 60-65mph and still turn engine fan at correct
speed for opium cooling. The 4.12 R&P is real nice on 1600-1915cc daily drivers with
medium size cams that are not built for all out hot roding!
A 4.37 R&P is good for lower horse power combos like stock 1300cc-1600cc street
combos or slower driving like in a off road Baja or sand rail. Brings all 4 gear closer. Can
cruise at 55-60mph and still turn engine fan at correct speed for opium cooling.
All stock rebuilt swing axles are built on a 12v swing axle trans case. We can build on a
6V case if you need, just give us a call!

For orders that include the rebuilt axles and tubes we will also
charge you now for axle core of $call.
We will credit you back once we have received and inspected your 12 volt rebuildable
core and/or axles with tubes.
A 6 volt trans axle are NOT acceptable and/or 6 volt trans that have been machined for 12
volt flywheel are NOT acceptable as a core.
If you do not have a good rebuildable core then add the core fee.
