I know it takes extra time but this helps the builder in cleaning the case. You can add Piston oil coolers that squirt oil on to the back of each piston to help keep them cool. Add $120. This is a must for turbo combos that are going to push the max with boost on pump gas. Shoud be used with high compression motors that are going on the street. You can add Sand seal This will help keep your motor clean. Add $60.00. Sand seal is not just for off-road use. It will help keep the engine compartment clean. It's a must on nice street cars with turbo or high rpm combos. You must run a breather box now as your stock case vent has been sealed up! CRANK/ We start with New 69mm Counter Weighted crank. Our cranks are:Balanced, forged 4340, magna fluxed, shot peened, micro polished and yes they are Nitrided Wedge Mate add $210 Wedge mating is for drag race or big power combos only. If you are going to visit the track with street tires than no need. But if you plan to add slicks you shoud add wedge mate. RODS/ New Forged 4140 "I" - Beam rods These rods are each Balanced magna fluxed and shot peened. We only use real ARP 8740 bolts. You can add ARP 2000 bolts add $65 We perform a comprehensive rodbolt stretch test and setting to each and every bolt. This may sound like we are going too far but we believe it is necessary to insure there is no chance of rod or rod bolt failure. Ask the other shop if they have a rod bolt strech gauge? You can add a set of our race proven "H" Beam rods add $135 ("H" beam rods come with ARP2000 bolts) We will talk about the size of the rod with you. PISTONS/ We take each piston and balance them within less than 1/2 gram of each other. 90.5, 92 or 94mm pistons, forged Mahle, with Tru-Arc race clips, not the stock clips. RINGS/ Mahle chrome top rings This way they last for street use. Good for for over 80,000 miles. For racing you can add Grant cast iron rings. For a complete set of Total Seal rings add $135 Gas Ports/ This will help the top ring seal up but will ask a lot from the top ring and barrel. Not for high mile street use. We will talk with you and help you pic the cam. LIFTERS / Solid Billet LBC High Performance Lub-A-Squirt lifters. We use our 28,30 or 31mm Solid Billet one pice lifters that have a .024" oil hole to lube the face of each cam lobe. With all the motors we build and all the turbo cams we sale not one cam has gone flat or had a single pit show up in our lifters at all. Now can all the other shops say that? STRAIGHT CUTS/ Steel on Steel We do not charge extra for straight cuts. You will notice that we dont charge for a lot of the extras! Using straight cuts will lessen the load on the cams thrust. They are not loud, but do make that sound that we all like! If you want them loud just let us know! This includes oil pressure checking before start-up, False load cam and lifter brake-in, minimum of x12 200* degree cylinder temp heat cycles.We will adjust the idle speed, fuel mixture setting and timing. After each 200* degree test run, we place a fan on the motor to cool it quickly. This will help us to detect any oil leaks or possible problems. We drain the motor of all its used oil and external oil filter. Next we will remove the rocker assembly and re-torque the heads to spec, reassemble the rockers and adjust the valves and it is ready to go. 12 Start Brake-In Add $200 Dyno service on our new 800hp digital Dyno. It will include the 12 Start Brake-In plus a complete Dyno session to find out what your beast makes. We will do all the jetting and set up at this time as we can now place your combo under a full load. He drive this car over 45 miles each day to and from his work in stop and go trafick. The oil temp stays at 180 or lower but will reach 200* if its a hot day outside. He just clicks on the 10" fan thats mounted to the 72 pass extra oil cooler and stays under 200*. He drove his car to the last DragDay, ran 4 pases with a best of 8.90 @ 88mph in the 1/8th mile. on pump gas, 5lbs of boost, street tires and drove it home. Now the last turbo motor we had in this car was a smaller 2054cc and i clicked off a 8.55 at 92mph with that combo so the new one should top that with easy! My dad is not a hard core racer like me,he likes to cruise and just get on it onec in a wile. Now when i take the car on the weekends its a dif story! I will race any thing any time. The first night with the new 2110 i raced a Mustang Cobra. With only 5lbs of boost we stayed side by side all the way into top of 3rd gear,(over 90mph) then he backed off! One of these days we will drive this car to the track and turn up the boost to 15lbs, i think it has a high 7 sec 1/8th mile pass in it!
